will a 4.2L Straight six from trailblazer fit into 86 Camaro?
I am planning on putting a Atlas LL8 4.2L straight six into an 86 Camaro, will it bolt up to a regular V8 transmission bellhousing pattern? Will i have to get LS style mounts? because the engine is badged under the vortec name, which is now an LSx style engine. What will i have to do to make it work? And how much of a gain will i see in power with fully CNC'd heads, a ported intake and a set of bigger cams? It has 270hp stock.

DON'T THINK THE ENGINE BAY IS LONG ENOUGH FOR A STRAIGHT SIX,I HAVE A 83 Z28 AND NOT MUCH ROOM WITH A 496 BIG BLOCK FROM FRONT OF MOTOR TO RADIATOR,WILL HAVE TO FAB UP A SET OF MOTOR MOUNTS IF YOU CAN FIT IT IN,AND THE WIRING HARNESS AND COMPUTER EXHAUST SYSTEM THAT'S SEEMS LIKE ALOT OF WORK FOR A SIX CYLINDER...
