Is 7ft-8ft too high to mount my surround sound speakers?
My LCD tv is about 5ft from the floor. I want to mount my center, front-left, and front-right speakers above it. Is that too high for good sound?
You can get away with some elevation, but with no room parameters, speaker size or model it is hard to make a recommendation as there are applications for just such a situation.
