Do I use a Honda CRX or a Acura Integra part for this problem...?

Ok, i recently picked up a Crx HF build from someone. There has already been extensive customization done to it, one of which being that the original engine has been removed and now there is an Integra motor in there, an LS version. Now also important to know is that i have a 3" cold air intake pipe (might only be 2 3/4" i'm not 100% sure) and because of the way that the front end is, it would be capable of picking up lots of rain/wetness and if that creeps all the way up the pipe i can be facing some hydrolock. Since i dont want this to happen, i've been told i need a "cold air intake bypass vavle" or "cold air intake bypass filter" or something to that effect. My question is do i need to get one of these filters for a crx make or an integra make? does it make a difference? i just don't wanna get the wrong part, and i need to know what fits!!! ok, thank you!!!

Bypass valve only works if the filter is submerged in water, causing a drop in pressure, and that's what the by pass valve kicks in, like a snorkel. Doesn't help if the filter is trickled with water, but it's rare that it would get passed the filter and into the engine with sprinkles unless your intake is in a puddle.

It doesnt matter what by pass valve, as long as the diameters match. Your best bet really with a set up like that is a short ram or a standard intake system.
