Eclipse Evo Black
Another car question. I need detailed responces.?

As of right now, I have a '96 Saturn SC2 Coupe, Automatic. No modifications whatsoever. Only 90,000Miles.
If I keep this car, I want to do a few things with it. Maybe paint it black, get new rims, a sun roof.

But. I honestly don't know how much longer the car will last. I've had it for 9 months, and i'm already outgrowing it. It's my first car.

Here's the car, along with more information http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2950611

If I get a new car, (One which I want to Modify), I don't want to spend anymore than 6-7 Grand. (This will only be my second car.)

I've been looking at Honda Civic EX's. But they're so common. I like the SI's but, I don't want a Manual trans.
I like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, and lancer.
I like the Acura Integra
Evo
Dodge SRT - 4.

But I don't know how much these are used, or how easy they are to modify.

What do you suggest I do?
OH!

I meant 6-7 grand for the CAR.
Not including Modifying.

You cannot afford an SRT-4.

You cannot afford an Evo unless you're outside the US, where they get the early ones.

You cannot afford a 4th gen Eclipse, and the 3rd generation ones are not a good choice for a performance car. You can afford a 1st or 2nd gen, and the AWD turbo models are fast (similar mechanicals to the contemporary Evo) and can be made MUCH faster, and have a lot of community support, but they are not reliable. The Civic or Integra are good choices.

If you are going to do performance modifications, learn to drive stick. Unless you're handicapped and can't drive stick, that's kind of the mark of a poseur.
