Fiberglass Exhaust Header
i have a 79 z28 with a355 lunati 300 dur.515/515 lift cam torker2 intak?

alum.heads 2.02/1.60 750 holley secondary carb heads are 64cc 1.6roller rockers MSD ignition hooker super comp headers trans is 400 with shiftkit 3000 stall 10 bolt 8.5 rear 4.56 gears fiberglass hood and trunk lid front and rear bumpers removed u cant tell 3in exhaust with flowmasters sounds great how well do u think this will perform.

I build engines and do a lot of racing. Sounds like you got it going on except I don't get the duration on the cam. Did you make a mistake on how many degrees of duration? Another thing that puzzles me is what are you talking about on the carb? 750cfm, but what kind of secondaries, manual or vacuum? I think you might want to rethink that much carb, but that would be a good place to start. Depends on which kind of head configuration you have, as to the flow. Are they wedge or kidney shaped combustion area's? I wouldn't know what kind of numbers the heads will flow, unless I knew what they were. I do agree you are on the right track, but I would give some serious thought to the geometry, valve springs, and push rods you are using. Your cam probably comes in at around 110-112 degrees of duration, and I would think about having it degreed. You might also think about spring bind, and it chewing up the valve seals. That's a lot of lift, and combined with 1.6 rockers, the heads needs some special machine work to make it not chew up the seals. I usually try to go with a little more lift on the exhaust side of the cam, as this seems to make more power on the dyno.
Glad to help out, Good luck!!!
