Will the car sound louder if I dump the exhaust towards front of the car, help?
Hello, it is not a truck but a Camaro.
Right now the setup is headers, straight pipe, single in and dual out, just exhaust piping, no muffler, no cat.
it sounds good, but if I go to an exhaust shop and have him cut out a portion of exhaust towards the portion closer to the engine, would it sound louder or quieter than now?
-also where would the exhaust escape if there was no pipe leading out away from the car?
headers with single out? what a waste but to answer your question it would be louder and the exhaust fumes if sitting still would get into the car if you so much as cracked a window I dont advise doing it and Im guessing if you take it to an exhaust shop they wont work on it any way because it dont have a cat and they dont want the fines give it a muffler or at least a glass pack and shoot it out the back
