Whats the difference between glass-packs, performance mufflers etc?
I'm getting new mufflers for my truck and i was hoping for some details about glass packs and regular performance mufflers i.e. how they sound, performance etc. Thanks
Glass packs have almost ZERO flow resistance and sound real "mellow" in the beginning. After a while the fiber glass burns out and you have just a straight pipe there and a lot of noise=illegal.
Turbo mufflers have a type of maze inside that the gasses have to travel around, which quiets the noise quite a bit, and they last for a LOT of years. Sound better too.
