Should I get a catback exhaust system installed on my 02 Cavalier ls?
It's a coupe with a 2.2 L motor. It isnt even the ecotec motor, though. Before I had an air intake installed people told me not to do it because I wouldnt notice any difference in performance, however right after it was put in I felt a little boost right away. Would a catback system also increase preformance slightly? I know my car will never be real fast, but I just want to get whatever I can out of it since I cant afford to buy a different car. And even if it doesnt make it feel faster, would it still be beneficial to my motor anyways since it would help it to "breathe"?
Also, what size will the pipe have to be fitted, 2.25? If so, would I have to buy a muffler with a 2.25 size inlet as well? Or could the inlet be 2.5?
Seriously, a Cavalier. I wouldn't waste money on an exhaust for that car, I love the old Cavaliers but you just wont get any results out of doing so.
