EGR valve delete kit on 94-98 dodge cummins?
I have a 12 valve dodge diesel and would like to get rid of my egr system because it can't handle the pressure of my exhaust brake. Does anyone know of a kit, to delete my egr valve, for this particular engine?
It does have an egr valve. California regulations.
Rick B, yes they do. California 94-98 engines has an EGR system that consisted of a cross over tube from the Air horn back over to the exhaust manufold.
Back to the actual question in order for you to get rid of that you have to purchase a new Air Horn and Exhaust manifold. There are a few different makes out there for the Air Horn and Exhaust. Follow the links below for them. If you have upgraded the exhaust then you may want to look at that as well and a #10 Fuel plate to give you more power. I found mine on e-bay for $20.00. Others want $150.00 plus for them.
