If I install a cold air intake will I get a check engine light?
I have an 00 tundra 4.7 v8 and am planning on installing an aem brute force or An airaid cold air intake. I'm just afraid i'll get a check engine light on my truck. What are the chances of it coming on?
If you install your cold air intake properly and as directed, your sensors should become acclimated to the new intake. If the check engine light does come on, take your vehicle to Auto Zone, they have the necessary equipment to check your onboard computer, and reset the check engine light to where it will go out.
