Has anyone had extreme exhaust heat problems with new Harley FlHX? Burned my thighs to blisters. 2008 year?
25 miles on Bike blisters on thighs cannot ride in day light. Dealer says its my riding style. I cant ride standing on the seat.
If you touch the pipes they will cook the skin right off of your leg, but if you are burned by radiant heat your bike is running way too hot.
Check your spark plug for color ,I'd bet you are lean either due to an air leak or a maladjustment from the factory.
If you look in most any service manual, there are pictures of the tan color that is supposed to be left on your spark plugs.
If the dealer says you're not lean ,refer to the picture in the manual.
