if i buy a damaged ipod touch and fix the sensor could i return it to the apple store?
or would i need to prove ownership?
I can't imagine why anyone would ever buy a damaged ipod, that's not a good idea. Then, if I did I would not expect that deceiving apple would work either. Yes, you would have to have a receipt, and the damage would have to be apples fault and the ipod would still have to be under warranty! Otherwise apple won't give you any refund.
