Is it safe to run my car without the bolt/screw/nut on a megan racing header?
I just installed an aem air intake short ram and a megan racing header (stainless steel) on an 01 civic coupe. I noticed that the screw/bolt/nut on the side of the headers comes off and on. If I leave it on it is quiet, however if I remove this screw/bolt/nut then the sound is like a muscle car..Is it safe to run it without this screw? Or do I need to have it on at all times?

That is the exhaust sensor port.
Don't leave it open. Cold air coming in could warp a valve.
