Can anyone give some advise on a p304 cyl.4 misfire code on an 04' Nissan Frontier?
We have changed the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor twice. The EGR valve passes a vacuum test and there is no clogs in any of the egr pipes. All the vacuum lines are good and there don't seem to be any chafes in the injector wiring. It still runs good with no missing or skipping it has around 150,000 miles. I am a heavy duty diesel tech by trade but know little about nissans. Does anyone have any suggestions?
It is not a coil pack system it does have a cap and rotor button. The plug looks good when I pull it out just like the rest of them. The truck is not smoking like it is a broken ring it still runs good like nothing is wrong.
I clear the codes everytime I do something different and the code comes back.
not sure of the spark system but is it a coil pack, it is possible the coil pack isnt firing the number 4,, also disconnect the battery and wait three minutes then reconnect to erase the codes and restart,, otherwise u may have oil comin up thru the oil rings or thru the head and killin that plug...Art
