how many hp would a open header give to a bmw 328?
i want to go on a track upcoming wednesday, how many hp would give more to the car if i would disconnect headers from the exhaust pipe? and would it get on fire ? i have cold air intake, intake chip, and turbo injectors. thank you all very much!
Most likely you would loose horsepower because the car is tuned to run with all pipes attached. Running the car without pipes will make it run bad as if it needed a tune up. You would have to tune the engine to run without pipes and then after the run at the track, when you put the pipes back on it has to be tuned again to run with the pipes.
