What is the best way to pressure test stainless stainless steel pipe ?
I installed a 5/8 SS line for Liquid Oxygen, should I test it with argon gas ?
How can I get rid of any impurities ?
Oxygen generates very high pressure. You will need to do a hydrostatic test. that is to say fille the unit completely with water or other non compressible liquid and apply pressure. Liquid oxygen requires about 2500 to 3000 psi to stay liquid so you will have to apply twice that in the test. Make sure there is no air or other compressible gas in the system or you will get an explosive condition with any rupture.
