can u use stainless stell cleaner to clean a flat iron?

I have a wet 2 straight flat iron and i really need to clean it ...cause it has a tone of product build up... so i have some welman stainless Steel cleaner & Polish in an spray can.. is it okay to use this to clean it....

i've tried baby wipes and wash clothes with warm water... I need help need to fix my hair for church tonight... thanks

Try a little baby oil on a damp cloth, but first let your iron get warm.
If you clean your iron after each use you won't have this buildup problem.
