I have a 2003 Dodge truck the auto door locks keep locking by them self and the left door will not work?
There seems to be a short somewhere I have tried to replace the switch but still have the problem.
iam going to show you a magic trick. iam going to tell you where and how to fix the problem without even seeing the truck. ready?... open the door thats broke. in between the door and body is a rubber wire harness cover. remove that to expose the wires and BAM!!!. there is your short. you should see 2 to 5 broke wires or wires shorted together. but in case thats not the problem (9 out of 10 it is) the cluster controls the door locks. the switch send the singal to the cluster, then the cluster sends it to each door lock. good luck and i hope this helps you.
