2003 Honda Civic SI: Temperature gauge climbs to High and blows cold air.Does not happen all the time, why?
This occurs once in a while and the car car be both in motion and sitting idle. It happens when the car is first started but also after it has been running for a length of time, what might the problem be?
The radiator is low on water/antifreeze make sure its full and top off the reservoir (white plastic bottle with green liquid inside, black plastic cap labeled "Antifreeze Only" ) NOTE: on some cars the radiator cap and reservoir cap are the same cap.the one on the reservoir . if it is full , then you should replace the thermostat. NEVER EVER OPEN RADIATOR CAP WHEN MOTOR IS HOT!!!!
