Will Audi A4 stock wheels / rims fit Volkswagen cars (GTI, Beetle, Jetta)?

I'm planning to buy a Volks, and I recently saw nice A4 wheels for a good price on craigslist. Can you guys tell me if they would fit? The info about the wheels, thanks:

What year are the VWs? 235/45s will be very wide, probably too wide, but that won't matter much if the bolt pattern isn't right. MKIV Golfs/Jettas/Beetles used a 5x100 bolt pattern, they switched to the 5x112 in '04.
